The Downtown Morgan Hill Improvement District (DMHID) is dedicated to enhancing the vibrancy and economic success of Downtown Morgan Hill. Funded by Downtown commercial property owners, non-profits, and the City, our mission is to promote a safe, clean, and welcoming environment through targeted programming, beautification, and marketing.

    The Morgan Hill Property Business Improvement District has finished it’s first year of operation. Learn more about the clean & safe and marketing efforts and events that were accomplished by the DMHID organization in 2024.

  • MORGAN HILL DOWNTOWN ASSOCIATION WINE & FOOD WEEK

    APRIL 21-26, 2025

    Wine and food week will feature a variety of winemaker dinners and wine-themed specials and events hosted by Downtown businesses. The week will end with the 15th Annual Wine Stroll on Saturday April 26 from 1pm-5pm. Tickets coming soon……

  • OPEN STREETS

    MAY 10, 2025

    Walk, bike and roll through Downtown with the City of Morgan Hill at the 3rd Annual Open Streets Event! Activities include a Fun Run, Bike Rodeo, Strider Course, fitness classes, bike repair/education booths, vendor booths, live music, and more!

  • SIDEWALK SATURDAYS MAKERS MARKET

    MAY-DECEMBER 2025

    Started in 2020 to support home-based and retail small businesses through the pandemic, Sidewalk Saturdays has developed into a beloved community event embodying the Buy Local spirit. This maker’s market takes place every 2nd Saturday during the months of May-December, from 9 a.m.-2p.m., on 3rd street in Downtown Morgan Hill.

District Boundary and Assessment

The MHPBID includes parcels north of Dunne, east of Del Monte, south of Main, and west of Butterfield.

Budget and Services

The MHPBID will provide Clean and Safe programs, Capital Improvements and Art Installations, Marketing and Special Events, and related Management and Administration directly and only to assessed parcels within its boundaries.

Management District Plan

Developed by a growing coalition of property owners, the Morgan Hill Property and Business Improvement District (MHPBID) is a benefit assessment district whose main goal is to provide improvements, maintenance, and activities which constitute and convey a special benefit to assessed parcels. As required by state law, property owners have created this Management District Plan (Plan) to form the MHPBID.
